Moto Z3 Play's construction is notably newer, way thinner and lighter than Moto X Pure Edition (2015). Moto Z3 Play counts with a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has more 1800 megahertz processing cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Moto X Pure Edition (2015) takes clearer photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) also counts with a larger back camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos and a way more mega pixels camera in the back.
