Galaxy XCover 5 has a global score of 78.1, which is slightly better than Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s 74.1 overall score. The Galaxy XCover 5 design is newer, thinner and just a bit lighter than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015). Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has a much better looking screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a bit bigger screen, a lot greater screen pixels density and a lot better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy XCover 5 has a bit superior CPU than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has 1 GB more RAM and 2 more CPU cores.
Moto X Pure Edition (2015) captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low light images, it also counts with a way higher 21 mega-pixels resolution camera and a lot higher video resolution. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's battery duration is very similar to Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s battery performance.
