The Huawei P40 Lite is just a bit better than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), having a global score of 79.5 against 73.8. Huawei P40 Lite's body is notably newer and way thinner than Moto X Pure Edition (2015)'s, but it is a little bit heavier. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Lite has the newer 10 version while Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has Android 5.1 version, so it offers some additional features and improved performance.

The Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has a sharper display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a greater amount of pixels per display inch. The Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity.

Huawei P40 Lite features a quite better performance than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Huawei P40 Lite counts with a slightly better camera than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a bigger aperture to take better low light photography.

Huawei P40 Lite has a much longer battery life than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because it has a 40% bigger battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Huawei P40 Lite is also cheaper than the Moto X Pure Edition (2015), which makes it an easy choice.
