Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), getting an 85.7 score against 73.8. These phones work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version and Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has Android 5.1. Even when Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015) were released with only 4 months difference, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is much thinner and noticeably lighter.

The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit more vivid display than Motorola Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little higher pixels density. Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much faster processor than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a higher number of cores, a 64-bit processing unit and an additional graphics co-processor.

The Moto X Pure Edition (2015) captures way better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) also counts with a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality and a much better 21 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.

Galaxy S6 Edge has just a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Moto X Pure Edition (2015) features just a little better battery life than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.

The Galaxy S6 Edge costs a little more than Moto X Pure Edition (2015), but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
