Moto Z2 Force Edition has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Moto X4's 74.4 score. Although Moto Z2 Force Edition and the Moto X4 were released only 2 months apart, Moto Z2 Force Edition is somewhat lighter and thinner. Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has a slightly better looking display than Motorola Moto X4, because it has more pixels per display inch, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a little larger display.

Moto Z2 Force Edition features a little faster processor than Motorola Moto X4, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Moto Z2 Force Edition also has a larger amount of RAM. Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a quite bigger storage to store more apps and games than Moto X4, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Moto Z2 Force Edition also has 64 GB internal memory.

The Moto X4 has a little better battery life than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery size. The Motorola Moto X4 counts with a slightly better camera than Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, a same resolution back facing camera, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video quality, the Motorola Moto X4 also has a bigger camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.

Although Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto X4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto X4. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Motorola Moto X4, letting go a couple specs and features.
