The Samsung Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is better than the Moto X4's 74.4 general score. The Samsung Galaxy A42 construction is newer than the Moto X4's, but it's somewhat heavier and just a little thicker. Galaxy A42 and Motorola Moto X4 count with really similar CPUs, and although the Galaxy A42 has a larger amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

The Galaxy A42 counts with a much better memory for apps and games than Moto X4, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports 1000 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy A42 features a way better battery duration than Moto X4, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
