The Galaxy A8 (2018) is a bit better than the Motorola Moto X4, having a 79.2 score against 74.4. Although it's the best in this comparison review, we must note that it is also a a bit heavier and just a bit thicker phone. The Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a processor that is just as good as the processor in Moto X4, and although the Galaxy A8 (2018) has a higher amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.

Galaxy A8 (2018) features a slightly better looking display than Moto X4, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution, a little bit higher pixels density and a quite larger screen. Motorola Moto X4 captures clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a camera in the back with lot less mega pixels resolution and a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

The Moto X4 counts with more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) counts with a battery performance that is just as good as the battery lifetime in Moto X4.
