The Galaxy Note8 is better than Moto X4, having a general score of 83 against 74.4. Galaxy Note8 is an a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier phone than Moto X4. Galaxy Note8 features a little sharper screen than Moto X4, because it has a bigger display, a just a little more pixels per inch of display and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960.

Galaxy Note8 has a little better processing power than Moto X4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has 3 GB more RAM. Galaxy Note8's camera is very similar to Motorola Moto X4's camera, and although the Galaxy Note8 has a larger camera aperture, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same sensor size, the same video frame rate and a same resolution camera in the back.

The Moto X4 features a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a little bit longer battery life than Moto X4, because it has a 10% bigger battery size.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto X4, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
