Comparison review

Sony Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is a lot better than Moto X4's 74.4 overall score. Sony Xperia 1 III's design is much newer than the Moto X4's, although it is heavier and just a little thicker. Sony Xperia 1 III has a much better display than Moto X4, because it has a lot better pixels density, a larger screen and a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840.

Xperia 1 III counts with just a little better hardware performance than Moto X4, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM memory. The Xperia 1 III captures much clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto X4, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and a same resolution camera, the Xperia 1 III also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures and video, a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and faster video frame rate.

Xperia 1 III counts with a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto X4, because although it has a SD extension slot that admits 976 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage. The Xperia 1 III counts with a very superior battery life than Moto X4, because it has a 50 percent larger battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto X4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto X4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia 1 III, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto X4, letting go some specs and features.
