The Sony Xperia 5 II has a general score of 87.2, which is better than Moto X4's 74.4 score. Sony Xperia 5 II's body has the same thickness and weight than the Moto X4. The Sony Xperia 5 II features just a little better hardware performance than Moto X4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Xperia 5 II counts with a slightly better looking display than Moto X4, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px, a bigger display and a quite better display density. The Xperia 5 II counts with a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto X4, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The Xperia 5 II has a slightly better camera than Moto X4, and although they both have the same video resolution and a same resolution camera in the back, the Xperia 5 II also has a way larger sensor providing a way better image quality, a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photos and video and better 120 fps video frame rate.
