Xperia Z5 Premium is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto X4, getting a global score of 79.8 against 74.4. The Xperia Z5 Premium is a a little heavier cellphone than the Motorola Moto X4, but they have the same thickness. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Moto X4, and although they both have 8 CPU cores and 3 GB of RAM, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a graphics processing unit.

Xperia Z5 Premium features a much better looking display than Motorola Moto X4, because it has a much higher 3840 x 2160 resolution, a lot better screen pixels density and a quite larger display. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto X4, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a larger camera aperture to take better photos and video in low light environments, a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a camera in the back with much more MP.

Moto X4 features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Moto X4 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit better battery performance than Motorola Moto X4, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto X4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto X4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Moto X4, resigning some specs and features.
