Huawei Mate 9 Pro has an overall score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition's 75.6 overall score. These phones use Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat version, so it counts with lots of additional features and increased performance. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, Huawei Mate 9 Pro's construction is somewhat heavier and incredibly thicker than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro has just a bit better processing power than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and 4 more CPU cores. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition. They have a higher quantity of pixels per screen inch, exactly the same 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a display of the same size.

The Moto Z Droid Edition features a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto Z Droid Edition and the Huawei Mate 9 Pro both count with incredibly similar cameras, although the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a worse (4K) video resolution, a back-facing camera with a worse resolution and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photography and video.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a very superior battery performance than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
