Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is better than the Moto Z Droid Edition's 75.6 general score. Huawei P40's body is newer than the Moto Z Droid Edition's, but it's a lot heavier and extremely thicker. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 has older 10 version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat.

Moto Z Droid Edition has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater pixels count in each inch of display. The Moto Z Droid Edition has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Huawei P40 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a higher number of cores (and they are faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Huawei P40 has a way better battery life than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 3800mAh battery size.

Huawei P40 takes much better photographs and videos than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera and better video frame rate.
