The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a general score of 83.4, which is better than the Moto Z Droid Edition's 75.6 score. Motorola Edge 40 Pro's design is notably newer than the Moto Z Droid Edition's, although it is much thicker and incredibly heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the previous 13 version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat version.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2400px resolution and a way worse pixel number per inch of display, it also counts with a bigger display. The Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has a better storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

Moto Z Droid Edition features a much faster processor than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 Pro captures much clearer photos and videos than Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro also has a much better 50 MP resolution back camera and a much better video quality.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a way better battery life than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
