Moto G7 Plus has an overall score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than Moto Z Droid Edition's 75.6 score. These phones work with Android OS, but the Moto G7 Plus has the previous 10 version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat. Moto G7 Plus is a noticeably newer phone than the Moto Z Droid Edition, but it's much heavier and incredibly thicker.

Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition features a little more vivid display than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a little better performance than Moto G7 Plus, although it has 4 less processing cores (although they are faster), they both have 4 GB of RAM memory.

The Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Moto Z Droid Edition also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto G7 Plus counts with just a bit longer battery life than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 15 percent more battery capacity.

Motorola Moto G7 Plus counts with a slightly better camera than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus also has a larger aperture for better photography in poorly lited situations and a more mega pixels back facing camera.
