Moto G8 Power is a bit better than the Moto Z Droid Edition, with a overall score of 76 against 75.6. Even though the Moto G8 Power is noticeably newer than Moto Z Droid Edition, it is heavier and noticeably thicker. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Moto G8 Power has the previous 10 version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat.
Moto G8 Power counts with a little faster processing unit than Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Moto G8 Power also has a larger number of cores. Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a little sharper screen than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
Motorola Moto G8 Power counts with a little bit better camera than Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola Moto G8 Power also has a back facing camera with a higher resolution and a larger camera aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
Moto Z Droid Edition has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Motorola Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Moto Z Droid Edition also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto G8 Power counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
