The Moto G84 is slightly better than the Moto Z Droid Edition, getting an 80.9 score against 75.6. Moto G84's body is a lot newer and extremely lighter, but thicker than Moto Z Droid Edition. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Moto G84 has 13 version and Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Moto Z Droid Edition features a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Moto G84, although it has a lower number of cores and less RAM. Moto G84 features a bit sharper display than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a bigger display.
The Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition features more storage for games and applications than Moto G84, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto G84 takes better videos and photos than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Moto G84 also counts with better video frame rate and a way higher 50 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
The Moto G84 has a very superior battery life than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
