Galaxy A40 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, getting a 79.6 score against 75.6. The Galaxy A40 design is noticeably newer, but just a bit heavier and incredibly thicker than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition. Both phones in this comparison use Android operating system, but Galaxy A40 has the previous 11 version and Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat.

The Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A40, although it has lesser cores (although they are faster), they both have the same RAM memory amount. Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a bit greater display density.
