Comparison review

Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is better than the Moto Z Droid Edition's global score of 75.6. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but Galaxy A42 has the previous 11 version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Galaxy A42's body is way newer than the Moto Z Droid Edition's, although it's much thicker and much heavier.

The Moto Z Droid Edition features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a way higher pixel number per inch in the screen. Galaxy A42 features a bit superior processor than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Galaxy A42 also has a larger number of 2200 megahertz cores.

Galaxy A42 features a little bit better storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows 1000 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy A42 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Galaxy A42 also has a way higher 48 MP resolution back facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a much longer battery duration than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
