The Galaxy A8 (2018) is slightly better than the Moto Z Droid Edition, having a overall score of 79.2 against 75.6. Although Galaxy A8 (2018) is newer than Moto Z Droid Edition, it is way heavier and way thicker. The Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little better pixel count in each inch of display.

The Galaxy A8 (2018) has just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a larger number of cores. Moto Z Droid Edition features a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Moto Z Droid Edition also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
