Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is much better than the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition's 75.6 overall score. Even though Samsung Galaxy M40 is notably newer than the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, it's heavier and thicker. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M40 has the previous 10 version and Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher display pixel density. The Galaxy M40 counts with just a little better processing power than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (but slower).
Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has a bit bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy M40 features better battery duration than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 35% more battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 takes much better pictures and videos than Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a larger aperture to capture better low-light images and video and a lot better 32 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
