Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, having a score of 79.3 against 75.6. Despite being the best phone in this review, Galaxy Note 5's construction is older, a lot heavier and a lot thicker than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition. Both devices in this comparison have Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 5 has 5.1 version while Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a bit better display than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a just a bit inferior amount of pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a bit bigger screen. The Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition also has 3 more CPU cores.

The Moto Z Droid Edition features much more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Moto Z Droid Edition also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.

Galaxy Note 5 captures clearer photos and videos than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for shooting photos and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a camera with a higher resolution.
