The Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is a bit better than Moto Z Droid Edition's general score of 75.6. The Galaxy Note8 is a newer cellphone than Moto Z Droid Edition, but it is extremely heavier and extremely thicker. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat, so it offers some nice extra features.

Galaxy Note8 has a bit sharper display than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a little bigger display. Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has a way bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has more RAM and 4 more cores. The Galaxy Note8 captures slightly better videos and photos than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera in the back with lesser MP resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low light captures.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has improved battery performance than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
