The Galaxy XCover 5 is a bit better than the Moto Z Droid Edition, having a 78.1 score against 75.6. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy XCover 5 has an older 11 version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat. Even though the Galaxy XCover 5 is noticeably newer than the Moto Z Droid Edition, it is noticeably heavier and a lot thicker.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a bit faster processor than Moto Z Droid Edition, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a larger number of cores (although slower). Moto Z Droid Edition has a more vivid screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much higher 1440 x 2560 resolution, a way higher pixels count per screen inch and a little bit larger screen.

The Moto Z Droid Edition has a greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Moto Z Droid Edition also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a bit better battery duration than Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
