Comparison review

Sony Xperia Z4v has a score of 78.8, which is slightly better than Moto Z Droid Edition's 75.6 overall score. Although it's the best device in our current comparison, the Sony Xperia Z4v is an older, somewhat heavier and noticeably thicker device than Moto Z Droid Edition. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Z4v has the previous 5.1 version and Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat version.

The Sony Xperia Z4v features just a little better hardware performance than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and an additional GPU. Xperia Z4v features a more vivid display than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a little bit better pixels count per inch in the screen.

The Xperia Z4v takes a little bit better videos and photos than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.

The Moto Z Droid Edition has a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z4v, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity. Xperia Z4v has a little better battery lifetime than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
