Xiaomi Black Shark is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, having a global score of 80.4 against 75.6. Although Xiaomi Black Shark is newer than the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition, it is way heavier and incredibly thicker. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Xiaomi Black Shark has 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Moto Z Droid Edition has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and more pixels per inch of screen. The Xiaomi Black Shark features just a little better hardware performance than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and faster).
The Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Black Shark captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Moto Z Droid Edition, although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality and a camera in the back with a lower resolution, they both have a same size diafragm aperture.
Xiaomi Black Shark features a very superior battery life than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 54 percent greater battery size.
