Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is just a bit better than Moto Z Droid Edition, getting a 75.8 score against 75.6. These devices come with Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat version, giving a couple additional features. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is newer than the Moto Z Droid Edition, it is extremely heavier and incredibly thicker.
Moto Z Droid Edition features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Moto Z Droid Edition both have quite similar processing units, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores.
Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a larger aperture, a lot higher video quality and a more mega pixels back facing camera. Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a much greater storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Moto Z Droid Edition, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
