Moto Z2 Play is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition, getting a global score of 77.4 against 76.4. The Moto Z2 Play is a newer device, and it's also somewhat lighter and thinner than Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition. The Moto Z2 Play counts with a little bit better processing power than Moto Z Force Droid Edition, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Moto Z2 Play also has a larger number of 2.2 GHz cores.

Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition has just a bit better looking display than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition also has a better count of pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play features as much storage capacity for games and applications as Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition, both of them have a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB and equal internal memory capacity.

The Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Edition has just a little better battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity. The Moto Z Force Droid Edition has a slightly better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photos and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Moto Z Force Droid Edition also counts with a camera in the back with much more MP.
