The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has a general score of 83.4, which is much better than Moto Z Play Droid's 71.8 overall score. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro design is newer, but somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than Moto Z Play Droid. Motorola Edge 40 Pro features a little more vivid screen than Moto Z Play Droid, because although it has a little worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a larger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

Moto Z Play Droid features an extremely better processing unit than Motorola Edge 40 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola Edge 40 Pro takes a lot better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto Z Play Droid, because it has a way better 7680x4320 video definition, a camera with a much better resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro has slightly more storage for games and applications than Motorola Moto Z Play Droid, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage. Motorola Edge 40 Pro features greater battery performance than Motorola Moto Z Play Droid, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity instead of 3510mAh.
