Google Pixel has a global score of 80.2, which is a bit better than the Moto Z's 74.5 general score. Google Pixel is a thicker and just a little bit heavier cellphone than Moto Z. Moto Z counts with just a little better performance than Google Pixel. They have the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core CPU.

The Motorola Moto Z features a bit better display than Google Pixel, because it has a just a little better pixels count per screen inch, a quite bigger display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Google Pixel captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto Z, although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition, a camera in the back with lesser MP and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos.

The Moto Z has a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Google Pixel, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. Google Pixel counts with a bit superior battery duration than Motorola Moto Z, because it has 2770mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.

Google Pixel is a bit more expensive than the Moto Z, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
