HTC U Ultra has a general score of 77, which is just a bit better than the Moto Z's overall score of 74.5. HTC U Ultra is a noticeably heavier and much thicker cellphone than Moto Z. The Moto Z features a bit sharper screen than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1440 x 2560px, the Moto Z also counts with a little bit greater pixel count in each screen inch.
Motorola Moto Z counts with a bit faster CPU than HTC U Ultra. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and 4 processing cores. The HTC U Ultra features more storage to install games and applications than Moto Z, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB, the HTC U Ultra also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
The HTC U Ultra has just a bit better camera than Moto Z, although it has a lower video quality and a lower 12 mega pixels resolution camera in the back, they both have the same diafragm aperture. The HTC U Ultra has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Moto Z, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto Z, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto Z. So if you want that extra features, you can buy HTC U Ultra, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Moto Z, resigning some features and specifications.
