Comparison review

Huawei P30 Lite has a general score of 77, which is just a bit better than Moto Z's overall score of 74.5. The Huawei P30 Lite construction is notably newer, but somewhat heavier and much thicker than Moto Z. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P30 Lite has 9.0 Pie version while Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Huawei P30 Lite counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei P30 Lite also has a larger number of 2.2 GHz cores. The Motorola Moto Z has a little sharper screen than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.

Moto Z features a slightly better camera than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a back facing camera with lot less mega-pixels, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Moto Z also counts with a much better (4K) video quality. Huawei P30 Lite features a better storage to install games and applications than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Huawei P30 Lite features better battery duration than Motorola Moto Z, because it has a 3340mAh battery size.

Although Huawei P30 Lite is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto Z, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto Z. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei P30 Lite, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto Z, giving up some features and specifications.
