The LG G8S ThinQ is much better than Moto Z, having a global score of 82.5 against 74.5. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but LG G8S ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo. The LG G8S ThinQ body is incredibly newer than the Moto Z's, although it is extremely thicker and much heavier.
Moto Z features a bit more vivid screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a better pixel density. LG G8S ThinQ counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB, the LG G8S ThinQ also has 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
The LG G8S ThinQ features a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z, because it has more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM. The LG G8S ThinQ takes slightly better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z, although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a camera with lesser mega pixels resolution, they both have a same size aperture.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with a really longer battery performance than Moto Z, because it has a 3550mAh battery capacity.
