The Microsoft Surface Duo has a score of 78.8, which is a bit better than Moto Z's 74.5 score. These phones include Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo has an older 10 version and Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo. Microsoft Surface Duo's body is a lot newer and a little thinner than Moto Z's, but it's noticeably heavier.

Moto Z features a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a higher screen density. The Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a little bit better processing power than Moto Z, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
