The Motorola Moto G8 Plus has an overall score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z's 74.5 score. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus construction is a lot newer, but noticeably heavier and thicker than Moto Z. Moto G8 Plus counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Moto Z, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Moto G8 Plus also has a greater number of cores (although they are slower).

Motorola Moto Z has just a bit better display than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Motorola Moto Z features a little bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Moto G8 Plus shoots greater photos and videos than Moto Z, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Moto G8 Plus also has a much better resolution back camera and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and video.

The Moto G8 Plus counts with a much longer battery performance than Moto Z, because it has a 54% greater battery size.
