The Moto G9 Plus is a bit better than Moto Z, getting a general score of 80.5 against 74.5. The Moto G9 Plus construction is way newer than Moto Z's, although it is thicker and a lot heavier. The Moto G9 Plus has a bit more powerful CPU than Moto Z, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Moto G9 Plus also has a larger number of cores.
