Comparison review

The Motorola Moto Z3 Play is a little bit better than Moto Z, with a 76.3 score against 74.5. Although Motorola Moto Z3 Play is newer than the Moto Z, it is extremely thicker and heavier. Moto Z has a bit more vivid display than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen.

Motorola Moto Z features a bit better processor than Moto Z3 Play, although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), they both have the same RAM amount. Moto Z3 Play features just a bit better camera than Moto Z, because although it has a lower resolution back-facing camera and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture.

The Moto Z3 Play counts with a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Moto Z, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Moto Z3 Play also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Moto Z3 Play has a bit superior battery duration than Moto Z, because it has a 15 percent larger battery capacity.

Although Moto Z3 Play is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Moto Z, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
