The Galaxy A42 has an overall score of 87, which is better than Motorola Moto Z's 74.5 overall score. Even though Galaxy A42 is noticeably newer than the Motorola Moto Z, it is a lot heavier and thicker. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A42 has an older 11 version while Motorola Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo.
