The Galaxy A8 (2018) has a score of 79.2, which is a bit better than the Moto Z's general score of 74.5. The Galaxy A8 (2018) design is newer than the Moto Z's, but it is noticeably thicker and extremely heavier. Galaxy A8 (2018) features a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Galaxy A8 (2018) also has more CPU cores.

Moto Z counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.
