Galaxy Alpha has a global score of 76.3, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z's general score of 74.5. Galaxy Alpha is a lighter but thicker phone than Moto Z. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Alpha has the previous 4.4.4 version and Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit superior CPU than Moto Z, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Motorola Moto Z features a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 2600mAh battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
Galaxy Alpha is a little more expensive than the Moto Z, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
