Galaxy J8 is just a bit better than Moto Z, getting a global score of 76.7 against 74.5. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but Galaxy J8 has the previous 10 version and Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Galaxy J8 is a newer device than Moto Z, although it's incredibly heavier and thicker.
Motorola Moto Z features a sharper screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Motorola Moto Z counts with a little better performance than Galaxy J8, although it has 4 less CPU cores , they both have a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Moto Z counts with more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy J8, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Moto Z captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a less megapixels resolution back facing camera and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light captures, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video definition.
Samsung Galaxy J8 features better battery life than Motorola Moto Z, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
