Samsung Galaxy M30 is better than the Moto Z, having an 82.4 score against 74.5. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M30 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and optimized performance. The Samsung Galaxy M30 body is a lot newer, but incredibly heavier and way thicker than the Moto Z.
Motorola Moto Z features a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560px resolution and a better pixels count in each inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy M30 features a processing unit that's just as good as the processing unit in Moto Z, although the Samsung Galaxy M30 also has more RAM memory and more processing cores (although they are slower).
Samsung Galaxy M30 counts with a greater memory to install applications and games than Moto Z, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows 1,45 TB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy M30 features a way better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Moto Z features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M30, and although they both have the same resolution back camera, the Moto Z also has a bigger camera aperture to take better photography and videos in poorly lited situations and a much better video resolution.
