Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy M40 is much better than Moto Z, getting an 85 score against 74.5. Although Samsung Galaxy M40 is way newer than the Moto Z, it's heavier and way thicker. These phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto Z, because it has more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (but slower).

Moto Z counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a better display pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a bigger memory for apps and games than Moto Z, because although it has a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy M40 captures much better photos and videos than Moto Z, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy M40 also has a larger camera aperture and a much more MP back facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy M40 features better battery performance than Motorola Moto Z, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
