The Samsung Galaxy M40 is much better than Moto Z, getting an 85 score against 74.5. Although Samsung Galaxy M40 is way newer than the Moto Z, it's heavier and way thicker. These phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto Z, because it has more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (but slower).
Moto Z counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a better display pixel density.
