Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is just a bit better than Moto Z, with a 79.3 score against 74.5. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has the older 5.1 version and Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Samsung Galaxy Note 5's design is older, notably thicker and extremely heavier than the Moto Z.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has a just a little lower screen pixels density, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a bit bigger screen. Moto Z counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Moto Z also has 3 more CPU cores.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a slightly better camera than Moto Z, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing photos or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a higher resolution back-facing camera.

The Moto Z counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Note 5 has a bit superior battery performance than Moto Z, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto Z, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Motorola Moto Z. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 5, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto Z, resigning a couple features and specs.
