The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is a bit better than Moto Z, getting a 77.8 score against 74.5. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has an older 4.4.2 version and Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although it's the best phone in this review, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is a much older, noticeably thicker and somewhat heavier phone than the Moto Z.
Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with an additional graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z, although it has a little smaller display, a little inferior count of pixels per screen inch and a much lower 1920 x 1080px resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport captures slightly better pictures and videos than Moto Z, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport also counts with a more mega pixels back camera.
Moto Z features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 32 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit superior battery performance than Motorola Moto Z, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport costs a little more than the Motorola Moto Z, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
