Comparison review

The Xperia 5 II has a score of 87.2, which is better than the Moto Z's 74.5 global score. The Xperia 5 II is a way newer cellphone than Moto Z, but it's heavier and much thicker. The Moto Z features just a bit better display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher display pixels density and a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

The Xperia 5 II counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Xperia 5 II features just a bit better processing power than Moto Z, because it has more RAM memory and a greater number of cores.

Xperia 5 II captures much better photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has a back-facing camera with lesser mega pixels resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture. The Xperia 5 II counts with a much better battery lifetime than Moto Z, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Moto Z, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5 II, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto Z, giving up some features and specs.
