Xperia Z4v is a bit better than the Moto Z, having a general score of 78.8 against 74.5. Xperia Z4v is better than the Moto Z, we must tell that it's also an older, heavier and incredibly thicker phone. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z4v has older 5.1 version while Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The Xperia Z4v features a bit superior processing unit than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor and 4 more cores. The Sony Xperia Z4v counts with a brighter display than Moto Z, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Sony Xperia Z4v also counts with a quite higher screen pixel density.

The Xperia Z4v shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Moto Z, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia Z4v also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera.
