Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is a bit better than Moto Z's 74.5 general score. These devices come with Android OS, but Xperia Z5 Premium has the older 5.1 version while Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although Xperia Z5 Premium is better than the Moto Z, we must highlight that it's also an older, a lot heavier and thicker cellphone.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has just a little better processing power than Motorola Moto Z, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with 4 more CPU cores (but slower) and an extra GPU. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better display than Motorola Moto Z, and although they both have a same size display, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a much better 3840 x 2160px resolution and a better count of pixels per inch in the screen.

Xperia Z5 Premium has a superior camera than Motorola Moto Z, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same size camera aperture, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 23 megapixels resolution. The Moto Z features a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto Z also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.

The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with improved battery performance than Moto Z, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto Z. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Moto Z, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
