Xiaomi Black Shark is just a bit better than Moto Z, having a global score of 80.4 against 74.5. These phones have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Black Shark has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version, giving some additional features and optimized performance. The Xiaomi Black Shark design is newer than Moto Z's, although it is a lot heavier and extremely thicker.
The Xiaomi Black Shark features a bit faster CPU than Moto Z, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a higher amount of RAM. Motorola Moto Z has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Black Shark shoots slightly better photos and videos than Moto Z, although it has a back-facing camera with less mega-pixels and a worse (4K) video resolution, they both have a same size diafragm aperture. Moto Z has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Black Shark features a really longer battery lifetime than Moto Z, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
