Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than the Moto Z, having a 77.5 score against 74.5. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's design is newer, but heavier and noticeably thicker than the Moto Z. Motorola Moto Z features a little bit better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a bit faster processor than Moto Z, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a greater number of cores (although slower).
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much better battery life than Motorola Moto Z, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a camera that is just as good as the camera in Moto Z, although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a lower video resolution, a less megapixels resolution back facing camera and a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited environments.
